Grant Writer
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's Degree in public administration, community development, communications, education, or related field; extensive experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
2. Demonstrated critical writing, analytical reading and previous grantmanship skills required.
3. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently to achieve desired goals required.
4. Computer skills required.
5. Experience in program development/management preferred.
6. Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.

SCHEDULE
Monday through Wednsday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. , Flexibility in schedule may be required.
APPLICATION PROCESS

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Research and analyze local, state or federal regulations pertaining to available grant programs and other funding sources.
2. Develop grant applications to apply for local, state, federal and /or foundation funds.
3. Work with appropriate programs managers and administrative staff in the development of grant applications.
