The Human Development Commission offers a wide range of Senior and Aging services centered on helping our area seniors to remain independent and safe in their own homes not only ensures a higher quality of life for the, it saves the State of Michigan a significant amount of money. Studies how that the cost of living in a nursing home far exceeds the cost of providing assistance for seniors to remain in their homes.

Our wide array of services are funded in part by Region VII Area Agency on Aging, local millage dollars, individual contribution, fee-for-service, Alzheimer's Association, United Way, Michigan Department of Education and a variety of grant funds.

Most of our senior services are offered in Huron, Sanilac, and Tuscola Counties.  Among the senior services that we provide, we understand each situation is different and work with you to coordinate a plan of bundled services that work for you.
