What is the Thumbody Express?

We are a public transportation system providing friendly, courteous service to Almer and Indianfields Townships as well as the City of Caro, with limited service to Cass City, Mayville, and Vassar.

Who Uses Thumbody Express?

  • Senior Citizens, to keep much-needed doctor appointments.
  • Students, to get safely from school or daycare.
  • Physically Disabled Individuals, to shop for groceries and personal items.
  • Employees, to arrive to work on time.
  • Local Businesses, who welcome patrons to shop locally.

“The Caro Transit Authority has a Title VI Plan that states that no person is excluded from participation in, or denied the benefits of its transit services on the basis of race, color, or national origin, as protected by Title VI in Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Circular 4702.1.B.  The Human Development Commission, as the third party contractor who operates the transit system, will be held responsible  for the compliance with and the implementation of this Title VI Plan.”
